Printed Shirts for Women
A printed shirt is the most useful thing in a hot-weather wardrobe because it does two jobs at once: it has the structure of a collar and a button placket, which reads put-together, and it has none of the weight that usually comes with structure. Every shirt in this collection is cut in viscose rather than cotton, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a compromise. Viscose is a regenerated cellulosic fibre made from wood pulp, so it takes print with unusual clarity and falls in a fluid line instead of holding a stiff shape the way woven cotton does.
What that means when you wear it: the fabric moves with you, prints stay sharp rather than going chalky, and the shirt does not hold a hard crease across the lap after an hour at a desk. It is the difference between a shirt that looks slept-in by lunchtime and one that does not. The trade-off is honest too — viscose absorbs less moisture than cotton and needs a gentler wash — so wash cold, dry in shade, and it will keep its hand for years.
The prints run in two directions. Small, densely repeated florals read as texture from across a room, which is what makes the Lavender Floral Print Casual Shirt and the Grey Floral Print Shirt quiet enough for a workday. The White Ikat Print Collared Shirt goes the other way — an ikat-inspired geometry with the soft feathered edge that gives the technique its name, and enough contrast to carry an outfit on its own.
For length, you have a choice worth thinking about. The regular-fit shirts sit at the hip and tuck cleanly; the Sage Green Floral Crop Shirt and its burgundy sibling stop above the waist and are built to be worn out, over a high-rise trouser or a co-ord bottom. Sizes run XS to XXL. If you want the same print language in an Indian silhouette rather than a Western one, the tops and tunics collection carries peplum, wrap and A-line shapes in cotton.
